7. Third-Party Services
We rely on the following companies to run the service. Each of them processes data only on our instructions, under a data processing agreement:
- Amazon Web Services - hosting, database, and image storage and delivery (EU region)
- Amazon SES - sending invitation, reminder and account emails
- Stripe - processing payments for paid plans. Card details go straight to Stripe and never reach us
- Google Maps and Google Places - address search in the editor, and the map you can open on an invitation
- Sentry (EU region) - error and performance reports, so we can find faults. Invitation addresses are stripped of their unique IDs first
- Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland) - visitor statistics, loaded only if you accept analytics cookies
- Cloudflare - DNS and certificates for invitations served on a host's own domain
Some of these providers are based outside the EU. Where data leaves the EU it is transferred under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, which form part of each provider's data processing agreement.
