Export or delete your data
Your data is yours. Take a copy whenever you want, and know exactly what leaving does.
Export everything
In Account, Download export gathers your events, guest lists, responses and wishlists into a single JSON file. Guest lists and responses also export as CSV from the event itself, which is the format a caterer or a venue will actually want.
Archiving instead
If you only want a quieter dashboard, archive rather than delete. Any event can be archived from its card on My invitations: open the card's … menu and choose Archive. A published event can also be archived from the bottom of Event info (Archive event). Nothing is deleted, but archiving only tidies your list: a published invitation stays open to anyone who has the link, so unpublish it first if guests should no longer see it.
Archived events are kept under the Archived filter at the top of My invitations, which appears as soon as you have archived something. To bring one back, press Restore on its card, or choose Restore in the card's … menu. The event returns to your active list exactly as it was, responses included.
Duplicate, in the same card menu, copies the design and settings without the responses, which is the fastest way to run the same party again.
Deleting
Deleting a single event removes that invitation and its RSVPs permanently. Delete account in Account removes the account and everything under it; you confirm with your password, if the account has one, and by typing DELETE. A Pro subscription ends with the account, and you are not charged again.
Both are immediate and permanent, and guests stop receiving anything from us at that moment. Export first if there is any chance you will want the guest list again.
What we store and for how long is set out in the privacy policy.
