Group gifts explained
Group gifts let several guests pool toward one larger present, without a spreadsheet or an awkward group chat.
How it works
Give an item a goal amount instead of a quantity. Guests pledge whatever they choose, the item shows progress toward the goal, and it closes as fully funded once the goal is met.
Any number of guests can pledge toward the same gift, and each commits only to the amount they picked.
Collecting the money
kutsu records each pledge - who made it and how much - so you know where you stand. The money itself is arranged directly between you and your guests. kutsu does not process gift payments and never holds your guests' money.
In practice, hosts usually put their bank details or a payment-app handle in the item's note, or in a Getting there-style section on the invitation.
