Ask your own questions
Beyond yes or no, you can ask each guest whatever you actually need to know - and get it tallied for you.
The questions that are always there
Every RSVP form asks for a name; it is what identifies the response and cannot be removed. Number of guests (including you) is the plus-one question, asked only of guests who say yes. It counts the whole party, the guest included, so set its maximum to 1 if nobody may bring anyone.
Your own questions
On RSVP settings → Questions, Add question offers six field types:
- Short text and long text - a line, or a paragraph.
- Single choice and multi-choice - with an option to let guests write their own answer.
- Number - headcounts, ages, seats in a car.
- Yes / no - the quick one.
Each question can carry help text, be marked required, and be dragged into the order you want. Answers roll up per question in Responses and come out in the CSV export.
Meal choices, plus-ones and your own questions come with Premium. On a free event guests still answer yes, no or maybe, with their name and email address. The editor tells you before you build a form you would have to undo - see Plans.
If you buy Premium later
Questions written before a rule applied are never deleted. Guests simply do not see the paid ones until the event is on a paid plan, at which point the form you built comes back exactly as you wrote it.
