Your invitation link and who can see it
Every invitation has one public URL. You choose how it reads, and who gets past the front door.
A link of your own
Invitations start on a long, unguessable address. On Event info → Response rules you can replace the last part with something readable - letters, numbers and hyphens - so the link becomes kutsu.me/i/liisa-ja-martin. This costs nothing and is available on every plan.
Invitation pages are never offered to search engines: they are marked "do not index" and excluded in robots.txt, whether the link is a long code or a short word. A readable link is convenient, not public.
Public or password protected
The Privacy setting in the same panel has two positions:
- Public - anyone with the URL can open the page and answer.
- Password protected - the page asks for a shared password first. Guests who arrive on their own personal link from an email skip the prompt.
Sharing it
The Share button in the editor header holds everything you need to hand the link around: copy it, download a QR code as a PNG, print a QR sheet for a table, or generate a shareable image card sized for a chat or a story.
Pasting the link into a messenger shows a preview card with your event's name, date and cover photo. Password-protected and unpublished events deliberately show a neutral card instead - the preview never leaks what the password is protecting.
